BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of the drug (e.g., tendon problems, especially if they are also taking corticosteroid drugs such as prednisone). Possible side effects

Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge or other new symptoms. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
